Gardening Indoors with Soil & Hydroponics
By George F. Van Patten
The word ,“bible”, is frequently used to describe an indispensable book. Unfortunately, it gets tossed around more than breadcrumbs at a duck infested lake. Still, it’s hard not to call George Van Patten’s book the holy script of indoor growing.
“Gardening Indoors” caulks every topic crevice and is complete with over 600 photos and step by step instructions on subjects like room ventilation and plant propagation.
Outdoor dirt worshippers will also find plenty of info. Pictures of leaf disease, pest control product descriptions (even DIY pesticide recipes), watering methods, and plant selection can apply to both indoor and out.
The strength of Van Patten’s writing is its ability to guide the newbie through the maze of indoor growing with little chance of getting lost. It also serves as a future reference whenever the grower becomes baffled. “Gardening Indoors” will be worn over time from constant use , but it will certainly never collect dust.
