Here at Fifth Season Gardening Co. we sell everything you might need for an indoor grow setup, for either the hobbyist or the commercial grower. That includes everything from grow tents, to commercial lighting systems, plus everything in-between. There is one particular piece of equipment that I want to discuss today, however, and that’s an indoor grow air filtration system.
When you hear a grower talking about their filtration system, they are almost always referring to their carbon filter setup. At Fifth Season Gardening Co. we stock the tried and true Can-Filters and Can-Lite Filters. These are the original odor controlling carbon filters on the market, and in my opinion they are the best money can buy! They use only virgin carbon that is extremely porous, and, thus, will effectively grab and control odor from you grow for years to come.
If you are a first time grower and buying your indoor setup from scratch, there are a couple items that you just simply don’t want to skimp on. The two most important pieces of your grow room or grow tent are your grow lights and carbon filter air exchange. Carbon filters are a must to keep your grow clean and optimized.
When buying your Can-Filter, however, its important to match it to the size of your grow room or grow tent, as well as the strength of your inline fan. The inline fan is what powers the filter, pulling in the aromas and dirt from your grow room and capturing them within the filter, eliminating them for good. You want to make sure your that both your filter and your fan are the right size for your space because if they are too small, you won’t get the results you’re looking for. If they’re too large, you’re wasting money and energy on equipment you don’t need, and who wants that? When you come into one of our Fifth Season Gardening Co. locations, we can walk you through the technical aspects of determining the right equipment for your specific set up. We love to talk indoor growing, and we love it even more when we can help our customers be successful in their growing endeavors!
