This hands-on workshop instructs attendees in the design and creation of 2 clay ornaments with botanical imprints. Students will be provided with air dry clay, imitation or dried botanics, rolling pin or glasses, cookie cutters, wooden dowels, and twine or ribbon to shape and create their own special holiday ornaments. You’ll leave with 2 crafted clay ornaments just in time for the holidays! Limited enrollment with pre-registration required.

This hands-on class explores the art of building lush, self-contained ecosystems. Participants will learn how to choose the right container, plants, layer soil and drainage, and design beautiful miniature landscapes. They will also learn tips on maintenance, lighting, and creative hardscapes. Leave with your own thriving tropical terrarium and the knowledge to keep it flourishing at home. If you haven’t been successful growing or caring for indoor plants, or simply want to brush up on your knowledge, this class is for you! The workshop will cover the basics of houseplant care, maintenance, pest control, repotting and propagation. When you leave, you’ll have a greater knowledge of and appreciation for houseplant care, plus you’ll receive a 4″ plant from in-stock plants and a 5″ Michael Carr ceramic pot!
