This two-hour class begins with an art and cultural history tour of Bonsai. Participants will then learn how to repot and wire a tree as well as practice bending and shaping techniques. Class fee includes all materials including ceramic pot, tree, and soil. Limited enrollment with pre-registration required.
Beginner Kokedama with Danny Coffey • $45

In this hands-on workshop, you will learn to make a Kokedama, or “moss ball” in Japanese, an art form related to Bonsai. These live moss compositions will include small plants and cuttings we provide. With proper care your Kokedama will grow and evolve for many years! No experience necessary. Bring a note pad and pen to take notes. Limited enrollment with pre-registration required.
