Two sessions available: 11am or 2pm. This 90-minute class guides you through a month-by-month overview of what to do in your organic garden. Learn when to amend beds, start seeding, varietal rotations, harvest, plant, and much more. A great class for beginners as well as seasoned gardeners, participants will come away with a seed starting garden planner and a bespoke garden guide for Zones 7 & 8, ending with a tour through our staff grow room and garden nursery. Class fee includes all materials; limited enrollment with pre-registration required.
Plant on Paper: Botanical Illustration • $55

Learn techniques and build skills to document the beauty and personality of your favorite plants! This class is open to plant enthusiasts of all levels of drawing experience, but mostly focuses on drawing basics. If you’re already an experienced artist, it’s a great opportunity to challenge yourself through botanical illustration. Using plants in the store as our subject, we will focus on building technical drawing skills including measuring/sighting, line work, shading methods, and more. This class will be led by Lisa Eckenrode. She has background in Fine Art drawing and painting and loves blending these skills with a love for nature. All materials will be provided. Limited enrollment with pre-registration required.
