Beginner Bonsai • $90

A hands-on workshop for beginner Bonsai enthusiasts led by bonsai artist, Danny Coffey. Perfect for beginners, this workshop will begin with an art and cultural history tour of Bonsai. Participants will then learn how to repot and wire a tree as well as practice bending and shaping techniques. The class concludes with a discussion about how to care for your tree once you get home. Class fee includes professional instruction and all materials: ceramic pot, tree, and soil. Limited enrollment with pre-registration required.

Basics of Orchid Care & Maintenance • $60

This beginner-friendly class is perfect for those wishing to learn more about care and continued maintenance of orchids. You’ll also have a chance to get your hands dirty and pot up your own Phalaenopsis orchid. Orchid, pot, and planting medium are included with class fee. Limited enrollment with pre-registration required.

Terrarium Building Workshop • $40

Saturday, January 31, 12pm – 2pm • SOLD OUT

This class will include a demonstration on terrarium tools and detailed instructions on how to create your own mini terrarium that will be self sustainable for many months. Attendees will leave with their own, self-created terrarium. Included in class fee is a mason jar, 2 terrarium plants, soil, charcoal, sand & moss. Additional items will be available for purchase. If you have your own container that you want to build your terrarium in, please bring it with you. Limited enrollment with pre-registration required.

Attendees will receive an additional 15% discount on all same-day purchases of terrarium tools, glassware, terrarium plants, fairy figurines and misters/watering tools.

Get a head start on your spring garden! Join us for a hands-on seed starting workshop where you will learn from some of the brightest horticulturists in our growing zone. You’ll learn everything you need to know to successfully grow your own plants from seed with your garden goals in mind. You’ll leave with your own seeded trays ready to nurture!
