Beginner Bonsai with Danny Coffey • $90

This two-hour class begins with an art and cultural history tour of Bonsai. Participants will then learn how to repot and wire a tree as well as practice bending and shaping techniques. Class fee includes all materials including ceramic pot, tree, and soil. Limited enrollment with pre-registration required.

It’s time to plug mushroom logs with Jesse and Sweet Dee of Resting Point Farms. Lion’s Mane, Shiitake, Chestnut, and Oyster mushroom sawdust and dowel spawn are available upon workshop day based on maturity, health, aroma, and vibrance. Two sessions available with limited enrollment and pre-registration required.
All Grain Brewing: Irish Red Ale • $160

Class will include a quick intro to all-grain brewing on our Stainless Steel system, then our Brew Specialist, Chris, will help guide you through brewing your own batch of rich, malty, easy-drinking Irish Red Ale. You will come back in two weeks to finish & bottle your beer to take home. (Second round by appointment).
Each kettle makes approximately 24-12 oz. bottles of beer. We can accommodate up to 4 people (max) per kettle. $160 class fee covers all supplies. $10 per extra person, up to 4 people max per kettle. No previous brew experience necessary. Limited enrollment with pre-registration required. All attendees must be 21 or over.
