Do you have a love and passion for organic gardening, urban homesteading, home brewing or tropical plants? Fifth Season Gardening is looking for knowledgeable, outgoing people to join our staff as a Retail Sales Associate in Asheville, NC.
This is a 30 hour per week hourly paid position to start immediately.
Must be able to work Monday – Friday, and occasional weekends.
Job requirements include:
- Register experience, store opening and closing duties preferred
- Self-starter with customer engagement and selling experience
- Comfortable welcoming customers and helping to find solutions to for their gardening, brewing, and homesteading needs
- Performs cashier, stocking, cleaning, and pricing duties
- Responsible for managing, maintaining, and stocking various product sections
- Experience and know-how in gardening, plant-care, brewing and urban farming are preferred
- Performs physical tasks, such as lifting/loading 50+ lbs., outdoor watering and weeding
