Once a quarter, Fifth Season Asheville Market sponsors a different local non-profit doing incredible things in community agriculture and sustainability initiatives, food security, and education. On Community Harvest Day, representatives of the organization are invited to come showcase what they do to make a difference. We then donate 10% of all sales made on that day to our partnering non-profit. At FSG, we believe that supporting non-profits strengthens our community and is one small step towards sowing seeds of change.
On Saturday, March 25th, we are pleased to be partnering with FEAST, a local nonprofit that offers hands-on gardening and cooking education in our schools. While introducing kids to the pleasures of growing and cooking food, FEAST classes integrate math, reading, science, and nutrition education into their programs, all while promoting healthier eating for a lifetime.
