For our FREE brew demo we will be cloning, or recreating, a great beer called Jurata. Jurata is a baltic porter, and the result of a collaboration between two breweries: Cigar City and Coronado. They both make great beer, and together they made an awesome beer. We have one of the only kegs in NC, on nitro, of Jurata Baltic porter and we plan to both brew our best re-creation, SAMPLE the original, and more. While enjoying the original, we get to try our best at a copy and instruct you how to do the same! Learn how to brew beer, the bottling process, how a recipe is formulated, and how to achieve the best results when cloning your favorite beers.
Easy Peasy Cupcakes, our friends and neighbors, are also getting in on the fun…they are creating a couple of special confections to pair with the Jurata Baltic porter we will be tasting and attempting to re-create. That’s right: a delicious bakery treat (to be unveiled) that is created as a tasting pair for a dark and delicious beer. Dark beer not your thing? We also have our American Pale Ale from our last brew demo we are hooking up to sample. And Easy Peasy Cupcakes has something special in mind that actually FEATURES our American Pale Ale in the recipe!
Last but not least…we will take 10% off EVERYTHING IN STORE for any and all purchases. We NEVER get to put stuff on sale, much less offer this kind of discount on everything in the store. But, you only turn 10 once and we want to celebrate with our customers and this community.
